Canadian singer / songwriter Abel Tesfaye, formerly known as The Weeknd, is one of the most popular recording artists of the past ten years, as his four Grammys, six American Music Awards, an Academy Award nomination, and a primetime Emmy would attest to. His latest venture is the HBO drama "The Idol", with Lily-Rose Depp and Jennie Kim of Blackpink / K-pop fame. Although receiving mostly negative reviews, the drama is showcasing Tesfaye's great skills as a composer and performer. One of the songs from the June 18 episode is our pick today, "Take Me Back."
