Not satisfied with their failed attempt to impeach President Biden on the most bogus accusations, fascist House Republicans are seeking to "expunge" the Malignant Loser's historic two impeachments. MAGAt queen Rep. Marjorie Traitor Greene (Insurrection-GA) and the cynical, ambitious Rep. Elise Stefanik (Insurrection-NY), introduced resolutions to wipe the Malignant Loser's impeachments from the record, despite dubious authority to do so:
"According to Stefanik, the House Republican conference chair, if the measure were to pass, it would be 'as if such articles of impeachment had never passed the full House of Representatives.'
As ridiculous as this might sound, the push isn’t coming out of nowhere. Let’s revisit our earlier coverage and review how we arrived at this deeply foolish point.
It was in early 2020, just two days after his first Senate impeachment trial wrapped up, when the Republican first broached the subject of invalidating what had happened to him. 'Should they expunge the impeachment in the House?' Trump asked during a brief Q&A with reporters. 'They should because it was a hoax.'”
Trying to erase history, whether black history or Presidential history, is in the radical right-wing Republican wheelhouse. Moreover, this corrupt and cowardly bunch of Trump bootlickers are seeking the Malignant Loser's approval and the donations of his rabid cult in advance of the 2024 elections. We'll see how this performance-art-as-politics resolution fares, although it won't change the historical record for future generations to read and the shame of their cult leader.
