Long-time game show host and animal rights activist Bob Barker passed away yesterday at the age of 99. The host of "Truth or Consequences" from 1956-1975 and, most famously, "The Price is Right" from 1972-2007, Barker was a familiar TV presence to several generations growing up over the past 50 years. A vegetarian and animal rights activist, Barker closed his shows with the admonition to "have your pets spayed or neutered."
