One of the catch phrases of the old "Hogan's Heroes" TV comedy was buffoonish stalag guard Sgt. Schultz exclaiming "I know nothing" when confronted with his Allied prisoners' activities. Corrupt seditionist and scotch-soaked Trump consigliere Rudy "Toot Toot" Giuliani had a similar reaction after he read the detailed and devastating indictment of his cult leader regarding the attempted overthrow of our democracy after the 2020 election:
"Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani reacted to allegations that he was a co-conspirator in a recent indictment of former President Donald Trump related to Jan. 6.
'Well, let me give you my statement, because people want to know, you know, am I a conspirator number one, number two, number three, number four, number five?' Giuliani told the listeners of his Tuesday podcast. 'Well, first of all, if I'm a conspirator, I was a conspirator in performing completely illegal acts,' he said in an unfortunate flub of the word legal.
'I know nothing at all of any kind that's incriminating with regard to Donald Trump or anyone else,' he insisted." (our emphasis)
Abundant evidence in the indictment, where he's pretty clearly co-conspirator #1, shows that Giuliani indeed performed "completely illegal acts" as he said. Moreover, there are witnesses to his seditious and criminal behavior who will testify to that.
Special counsel Jack Smith may choose to indict the six co-conspirators in a different legal action, allowing the Malignant Loser's case to proceed separately without a gaggle of lawyers from the six filing endless motions in addition to the Malignant Loser's. Much will unfold as the weeks pass, starting with the Malignant Loser's arraignment in Federal District Court tomorrow in Washington, D.C.
BONUS: Oh, and if the "Borat" scenes weren't evidence enough, Toot Toot is a dirty, filthy old man.
