The historically significant Maui town of Lahaina has been utterly destroyed by wildfires in the past several days. Other areas of the island have also been affected by those same wildfires. To date, the death toll is 55 but is expected to rise. It's been requested that donations to help the residents of Maui in this desperate moment go to the Hawai'I Community Foundation, a non-profit serving the State's communities.
