The Malignant Loser has informed his cult in the House that he is endorsing fanatic MAGA demagogue Rep. Jim "Gym" Jordan for the Speaker position, virtually assuring Gym's election next week. Jordan is currently chair of the House Judiciary Committee, pursuing alleged FBI bias toward his cult leader, and Hunter Biden's laptop porn fest, all while trying to block Federal investigations into the Malignant Loser. From the WaPo article:
"In an early-morning post Friday on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said Jordan had his 'complete' and 'total' endorsement. 'He will be a GREAT Speaker of the House,” Trump posted. '...He is STRONG on Crime, Borders, our Military/Vets, & 2nd Amendment.'
Of course the Malignant Loser doesn't remotely care about those things as much as he cares that, as Speaker, Jordan will do everything he can to derail the Federal felony cases against him.
"He was one of eight House lawmakers who were part of Trump’s defense team in his first Senate impeachment trial. Trump, in one of his last acts as president, gave Jordan the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award.
A former chairman of the hard-right House Freedom Caucus, Jordan was first nominated for the speakership in January by far-right Republicans who opposed McCarthy, but Jordan steadfastly maintained his support for him."
When he was a wrestling coach at Ohio State University, Jordan was accused by former athletes of ignoring their complaints of being sexually assaulted by the team doctor Richard Strauss. Six wrestlers came forward to say that they informed Jordan of the doctor's sexual misconduct, only to be ignored by him. An Ohio State University report in 2019 revealed that Strauss had sexually abused at least 177 male athletes over a 19-year period, and indicated that there was wide knowledge among coaches and administrators of Strauss' behavior.
