After last Tuesday's stunning victory of pro-choice forces in Ohio to enshrine abortion rights in the state's constitution, angry and delusional Republican / Forced Birth party extremists are vowing to sabotage the will of the voters. MSNBC reports that one-third of Ohio's Republican state legislators signed on to a defiant pledge to ignore the popular, pro-choice vote.
While defying the majority is in the Republican / Forced Birth party's DNA, it's their radicalism and efforts to dismantle the institutions of democracy -- be it voting rights, election laws, an independent judiciary, etc. -- that makes them especially dangerous and despicable. Being zealots and delusional means that they will never take "no" for an answer to their warped proposals to return to the 18th century.
