Willis Can Remain On Trump Racketeering Case

Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee ruled this morning that Fulton County, GA, District Attorney Fani Willis can remain on the election interference and racketeering case against the Malignant Loser and his co-defendants, but must remove prosecutor Nathan Wade from the case. Willis and Wade were in a consensual relationship during the prosecution of the case. From CNN:

"Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis can stay on and prosecute the Georgia 2020 election interference racketeering case against former President Donald Trump and 14 of his co-defendants, Judge Scott McAfee ruled Friday.

McAfee said, however, that Willis would have to remove special prosecutor Nathan Wade from the case in order for her and her office to remain. [snip]

After more than two months marked by a flurry of court motions and hearings, which included fiery testimony from Willis on the stand defending her relationship with Wade, the sprawling conspiracy case against Trump and his 2020 allies can now proceed depending on Willis’ decision."

Some bad judgement on Willis' and Wade's part, with some bad faith on the co-conspirators side, who want to sink the slam-dunk case against them and their cult leader. We'll see what DA Willis decides to do.
