Gov. Walz's Speech Accepting The Vice Presidential Nomination

ICYMI, here's Gov. Tim Walz's acceptance speech at last night's rocking DNC.  We confess that we lost it at about the 8:00 mark when Gov. Walz lovingly addressed his family's struggles with infertility and his tearful 17- year- old son Gus said, "That's my dad."  At that moment it felt like the coach was everyone's dad.

BONUS:  Plus he had his high school championship team there to cheer him on.  Priceless!

Could there have been a dry eye when Gus Walz, and to a slightly quieter extent Hope Walz, was bursting with pride and love for his Dad?! Apparently so...as the sick psychopaths on the right started gleefully announcing that Gus' exuberance isn't love, it's "mental deficiency," or "autism," or the "R word!" What?! 🤬 I didn't know until this morning that Gus has an actual diagnosis of nonverbal learning disorder and is neuro divergent. The Walz family is open about this and about all the the beauty and positivity that Gus offers this world! Any group that whines when 18 year-old Barron Trump is reported to be as weird and thuggish as every other adult in his family, but feels compelled to attack a 17 year-old who is proudly emotional (for whatever reason they assign to it), gives me several 1000 more reasons to not vote in their direction! And woe be to any POS who says a word against Gus in my presence!! 🤬🥊

Cleora -- One would have to be a sick, emotionally crippled asshole to mock that moment. The love and the warmth in that Walz family is something they've probably never felt in their own miserable lives.
