Junior Demagogue Vance's smarmy, lie-filled debate performance went over fairly well with the broken political media. For many of them, it's the veneer, the style and not the substance. Vance's hilarious objection to the debate moderators fact-checking him on the "Haitians are eating our pets" lie exposed the game. It didn't stop him from spewing lies throughout the debate, confident that they'd be coming too fast and too frequently to be checked.
