"What happened last night is the most direct assault on the authority of Congress, I believe, in the history of the United States. It is blatantly unconstitutional," Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) says of Trump's OMB halting all federal grants. "If this stands, then Congress may as well adjourn."

I was to give a talk at a big US Attorney's Office next week abt the complicity of German lawyers in the creation of the Nazi state. Yesterday the Justice Department cancelled it. Irony is dead. I've got an op/ed on this I'm looking to place. Help appreciated. #LawSky #Skystorians #Holocaust

Help wanted:  a new Minority Leader and Democrats with fight --

Two parties running at different speeds. Senate Dems are holding a press conference today to condemn the pardoning of J6ers. That was done a week ago. Unclear if there is a presser today to go after the OMB's power play to take over all federal grant money.

What would I do? Senate, House, DNC & Dem Govs EACH need to have a Rapid React WarRoom staffed 24/7/365. They need to have a rotating Senator, Rep, & Gov on call all times to post video, TikTok, statements & do interviews. Pressers are old, tired & mostly useless. Welcome to 2025.

...  a leader like her --

While President Trump illegally pauses federal funding from Congress, the Senate must not be business as usual. We do not consent to this lawless power grab.

🎵 You really got me! --

The Beatles and The Stones and Zeppelin and The Beach Boys and The Who are all wonderful but when you reach the age of 56 you realize it was The Byrds and The Kinks all along. Happy birthday to me.
