Straight from kissing the rotund bottom of the Malignant Fascist, Meta mogul and mega dweeb Mark "Zuck Up" Zuckerberg has decided he needs more money, so he's targeting the staff of Meta presumably to divert payroll expenses to his grubby hands:
"News reports say that social media company Meta Platforms is planning to cut 5% of total staff this year by terminating staff based on performance and hiring new workers to replace them.
Bloomberg News reported that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg made the announcement in an internal note to employees, saying he wants to 'raise the bar on performance management and move out low-performers faster.'
Meta employs about 72,000 people, according to recent filings, so cutting 5% of staff would amount to 3,600 people, Bloomberg said Tuesday." (our emphasis)
Yes, get those low-performing librul fact checkers, content moderators, etc., out so that Zuck Up can free up their salaries. And "hiring new workers to replace them?" Maybe he'll hire them at 20% of the current salaries through the controversial H-1B visa program, an Elon Musk- favored program much hated by furious MAGAts. You go, Zuck!
