"Hands Off" Demonstrations World Wide

 

In cities and towns across the U.S. and in cities across Europe, demonstrators under the banner of "Hands Off" registered their objection to the unhinged Malignant Fascist and his fascist sugar daddy Elon "Chainsaw" Musk and their gutting of the Government, undermining human rights and police state tactics, attempts to defund Social Security and Medicare, Trump's tariffs and many more issues. The Associated Press reports on stateside demonstrations, which were held in every state:

"Thousands of protesters in cities dotting the nation from Midtown Manhattan to Anchorage, Alaska, including at multiple state capitols, assailed Trump and billionaire Elon Musk‘s actions on government downsizing, the economy, immigration and human rights. On the West Coast, in the shadow of Seattle’s iconic Space Needle, protesters held signs with slogans like “Fight the oligarchy.” Protesters chanted as they took to the streets in Portland, Oregon, and Los Angeles, where they marched from Pershing Square to City Hall. [snip]

In Boston, demonstrators brandished signs such as 'Hands off our democracy' and 'Hands off our Social Security.'

Mayor Michelle Wu said she does not want her children and others’ to live in a world in which threats and intimidation are government tactics and values like diversity and equality are under attack.

'I refuse to accept that they could grow up in a world where immigrants like their grandma and grandpa are automatically presumed to be criminals,'Wu said.

Roger Broom, 66, a retiree from Delaware County, Ohio, was one of hundreds who rallied at the Statehouse in Columbus. He said he used to be a Reagan Republican but has been turned off by Trump.

'He’s tearing this country apart,' Broom said. “'t’s just an administration of grievances.'

Hundreds of people also demonstrated in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, a few miles from Trump’s golf course in Jupiter, where he spent the morning at the club’s Senior Club Championship. People lined both sides of PGA Drive, encouraging cars to honk and chanting slogans against Trump."  (our emphasis)

The BBC had this take on the demonstrations: 

"In London, protesters held signs reading, "WTAF America?", "Stop hurting people" and "He's an idiot".

They chanted "hands off Canada", "hands off Greenland" and "hands off Ukraine", referencing Trump's changes to US foreign policy. Trump has repeatedly expressed interest in annexing Canada and Greenland. He also got into a public dispute with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and has struggled to negotiate a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.

In Washington DC, thousands of protesters gathered to watch speeches by Democratic lawmakers. Many remarks focused on the role played in Trump's administration by wealthy donors - most notably Elon Musk, who has served as an advisor to the president and spearheaded an effort to dramatically cut spending and the federal workforce.

Florida Congressman Maxwell Frost denounced the 'billionaire takeover of our government'.

'When you steal from the people, expect the people to rise up. At the ballot box and in the streets," he shouted.'"  (our emphasis)

Meanwhile, the lawless MF was busy hosting the Saudi sovereign fund's LIV golf event at his Doral golf club, raking in money from them in another instance of corruption. The ballot box is still months away, so expect the streets to be busy with opposition to the MF's regime.
