To put a finer point on it. Trump’s contention isn’t just that he can deport people without them appearing before a judge, but that he can render them into a life sentence in a foreign dungeon with no process whatsoever.

  1. I don’t get the idea that people think polls matter. The republicans aren’t worried about town halls because they know there won’t be any more elections. And there’s nothing anyone can do about it, no matter how concerned the democrats get.
