Remember, Trump loves the poorly educated, like himself and his Edumacation Secretary:
Secretary of Education Linda McMahon may have had a juicy steak in mind while speaking at a panel earlier this week because she confused artificial intelligence, also known as AI, with A1, the same name as the popular sauce brand.
McMahon, 76, made the mix-up on April 8 while speaking at the ASU+GSV Summit, an event focusing on educational innovation. The former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) initially referred to the acronym for artificial intelligence correctly, saying, "You know, AI development – I mean, how can we educate at the speed of light if we don't have the best technology around to do that?"
Things got sticky as McMahon's speech continued: "A school system that's going to start making sure that first graders, or even pre-Ks, have A1 teaching in every year. That's a wonderful thing!"
"Kids are sponges. They just absorb everything," she added. "It wasn't all that long ago that it was, 'We're going to have internet in our schools!' Now let's see A1 and how can that be helpful."...
We, parents in particular, should feel secure in the knowledge that McMahon was not a "DEI hire," but rather was selected (and confirmed by the Senate!) based on her CV: major Trump donor, fake rasslin' executive, multiple failed Republican Senate candidate (2010 and 2012), 2-year stint as Small Business Administration head under Trump 1.0, obvious working knowledge of artificial intelligence (and did we mention major Trump donor?). Quality!!
Of course, her assigned role is to shut the Department down, so she's possibly competent to do that!

In other news, Trump got a standing O at a UFC event in Miami. Next stop The trcator pull at the Kennedy Center.
ReplyDelete🙂 Thank you for providing the full Q&A with McMahon. Nothing will change the fact that she is unqualified for this position she donated and ass-kissed her way into. That's a given, but up until the A1 brainfart, she was at least saying the right things about equitable funding for all schools and inclusion and even AI. Sigh, we could all be better educated if we learned from the fullness of our info sources and not just sound bites. If my series of daily brain farts ever became public knowledge, you would never see me in that public again!! 🫣🥵
