QOTD -- Don't Hang Back

"There’s this theory out there that if we just kind of hang back, don’t do much, then the people in charge today will screw it up, and then they’ll get blamed for it and then we’ll win.  I disagree.  First of all, while I agree that they will screw it up, I disagree that we should let them.  And I also disagree that they will be blamed for it.  They may not be good at governing but they are really good at allocating blame." -- former Transportation Secretary and veteran Pete Buttigieg speaking at a town hall yesterday in Cedar Rapids, IA, hosted by VoteVets Action Fund on why it's important to fight the Malignant Fascist at every turn and not "hang back" (looking at you, Carville).  Buttigieg passed on running in 2026 for Governor or Senator in Michigan, where he resides, leading observers to believe he's planning a run for President in 2028 (if there's an election, that is).  He's one of the party's most focused and articulate leaders, so his presence out on the hustings can only be a positive.
