The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has paused Federal District Court Judge Charles Breyer's ruling that the Malignant Fascist's usurpation of Gov. Gavin Newsom's authority to call out the California National Guard was illegal and unconstitutional. The deployment of the National Guard and U.S. Marines following raids on law abiding immigrant communities by ICE thugs has further incited opposition in Los Angeles as the MF intended.
The Court set next Tuesday, June 17 to hear arguments from the State of California and the MF's regime. From the Associated Press:
"The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday temporarily blocked a federal judge’s order that directed President Donald Trump to return control of National Guard troops to California after he deployed them there following protests in Los Angeles over immigration raids. [snip]
Earlier Thursday, U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer ruled the Guard deployment was illegal and both violated the Tenth Amendment and exceeded Trump’s statutory authority. The order applied only to the National Guard troops and not Marines who were also deployed to the LA protests. The judge said he would not rule on the Marines because they were not out on the streets yet."
Suppression of civil disobedience by military forces is a hallmark of an authoritarian / fascist state. The MF would like to use unconstitutional military force in other urban areas to shield his ICE force as they rampage through communities of color. The existential fight for our democratic republic is clearly on.
