Health and Human Services Secretary and anti-vaccine crank Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., notified Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, that the U.S. wouldn't contribute financially to the global vaccine effort over his contention that they neglect vaccine safety, a debunked accusation. From Politico:
"In an inflammatory video speech delivered to the Gavi pledging summit, seen by POLITICO, Kennedy accused Gavi of neglecting vaccine safety, making questionable recommendations around Covid-19 vaccines and silencing dissenting views.
'When the science was inconvenient, Gavi ignored the science,' Kennedy alleged.
'I call on Gavi today to re-earn the public trust and to justify the $8 billion that America has provided in funding since 2001,”'he said. 'And I’ll tell you how to start taking vaccine safety seriously: Consider the best science available, even when the science contradicts established paradigms. Until that happens, the United States won’t contribute more to Gavi.'” (our emphasis)
It was nothing more than a hostile demand / extortion that the organization embrace his discredited and debunked views on vaccine safety in order to receive U.S. funding. He's clearly let his own arrogance over his vaccine quackery get in the way of his job as HHS Secretary and promoter of safe health measures. Kennedy's action means that hundreds of millions of children may be denied life saving vaccines and millions of their lives lost, according to Gavi's multi-year plan. Those lost lives are squarely on the shoulders of the brain worm-infected former heroin addict who is the single worst person ever to have headed our nation's health organization.

BIL is a retired military lifelong Republican who hates this version of the brand. He spend a lot of time reading Project 2025 to argue with other vets at the hall. Said the plan is to kill 7.2 billion people. I said I thought that was the right wing hoax that that was the UN agenda. I dunno, given the admins actions to date, maybe he is right?
