"The business of feeding people is the most amazing business in the world." -- World-renowned chef and humanitarian José Andrés, founder of World Central Kitchen, which has fed countless victims of natural disasters and war since its founding in 2010. From 2010's earthquake in Haiti, to 2017's Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, to Gaza since 2023, and many many more instances of disaster and food insecurity, Andrés and World Central Kitchen has been there to feed the many thousands in need.
It's shocking that José Andrés and World Central Kitchen have yet to receive the long overdue recognition of the Nobel Peace Prize. They are deserving of it if anyone is.
