Jason Brian Gavidia has regrets. The Los Angeles Latino and U.S. citizen voted for the white supremacist Malignant Fascist, but that was before a couple of ICE thugs stopped him walking on the streets. From The Daily Beast:
"He voted for President Donald Trump. Then, he was stopped by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. And now he has changed his mind.
'I am American, bro!' Gavidia, 29, protested as two masked, rifle-toting immigration agents held him against the wall, asking for proof of his citizenship. The ICE agents had stopped him and his friend, Javier Ramirez, 32, another U.S. citizen, as they walked the streets of Montebello, a majority-Latino city east of Los Angeles.
'What hospital were you born?' one agent barked at Gavidia. 'I don’t know, dawg!' he said. 'East L.A., bro!' Ramirez recorded the altercation on his phone before Ramirez himself was wrestled to the ground and driven to a detention center."
All the "bro" and "dawg" talk didn't sway the ICE thugs, as Gavidia probably thought the Malignant Fascist he voted for saw him and his fellow latino citizens as "real" Americans, and not "criminals," "rapists," "the worst people" as the MF has characterized immigrants from Mexico since he entered politics. According to the article, Gavidia has joined a lawsuit brought by the ACLU against the MF's regime for detaining / arresting people on the basis of their color, place of employment or accent.
Many Hispanic voters bought into the MF in 2024, and many are now regretting that vote after the MF launched a vicious and indiscriminate deportation crackdown. It's hard to fathom how so many missed the obvious hateful remarks and the positions of the MF directed at them. Pay attention in the future. FAFO.
