A new poll from Morning Consult / The Century Foundation indicates that the public lays the blame for a weakening economy on the lying and demagogic Malignant Fascist. Just one day after firing the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics for accurately reporting the disastrous jobs numbers for the past three months, the MF can't fire this organization or manipulate its findings. Some top-line findings:
--American families are struggling financially, and 6 in 10 place blame on Donald Trump for driving up their cost of living. [snip]
--To manage the high cost of living, Americans are turning to debt and other risky financial products and practices. [snip]
--Americans think corporate interests, not government red tape, are the biggest obstacle to making change and they think it should be a top priority of the government to hold companies accountable for unfairly hiking prices, driving up the cost of living, and taking advantage of people.
As his random, vengeful and damaging tariffs drain American pocketbooks and industries dependent on foreign materials and products, the MF's economy is expected to continue to decline, as yesterday's stock market's reaction to day one of his tariffs indicated. Cuts in Government assistance, mass deportation of workers in key industries from construction to agriculture, and more will speed the decline.
