On this day in 1969, photographer Ian McMillan got up on a stepladder in the middle of Abbey Road in London and took the picture (actually 6 in all) that would become the cover of The Beatles' "Abbey Road" album:
Since it's always good to let some sunshine into our lives, George Harrison's "Here Comes the Sun" is our musical sunshine for today.
