"A Very Hostile Act"

 

Yesterday's press conference with a number of survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's / Ghislaine Maxwell's underage sex trafficking, during which they detailed their suffering from abuse and trauma, raised the question of how many MAGAts in Congress would separate from the degenerate Malignant Fascist and vote for the discharge petition for the Epstein Files Transparency Act requiring the Justice Department to release the Trump - Epstein files. The statement by survivor Lisa Phillips that she and fellow survivors would be putting together a confidential list of Epstein's clients clearly rattled the MF, whose staff put out a statement only a guilty party would issue:

“Helping Thomas Massie and Liberal Democrats with their attention-seeking, while the DOJ is fully supporting a more comprehensive file release effort from the Oversight Committee, would be viewed as a very hostile act to the administration."

It's hostile for the most obvious of reasons: the MF was one of Epstein's clients. The MF further signaled his guilt yesterday by attacking the survivors as part of a "Democrat hoax," using one of his favorite words when confronted with undeniable evidence of his guilt, as in the "Russia Russia Russia hoax." The Justice Department's release of already public documents to the Oversight Committee is nothing more than false transparency and a stall tactic.

The late Virginia Giuffre's brother Sky Roberts spoke yesterday at the press conference and he laid out what the choice is for Congressional MAGAts: protect the abusers or protect the victims. Most, like the weasel Christofascist Speaker Mike Johnson, will side with their degenerate cult leader and against the survivors. The discharge petition only needs two more MAGAt votes to reach the 218 necessary to put the bill up for a vote. In a normal America, that shouldn't be a hard decision, but in the MF's panicking mind it's a "very hostile act."
