We've known since he became Speaker of the House that smarmy Christofascist weasel "Moses" Mike Johnson would be absolutely loyal to his cult leader the Malignant Fascist. That's why the MF backed him, and on policy and legislation, Johnson has been a true MAGAt, though if he followed his professed Christian faith would objectively find the MF repellent and disgusting. Now, the spineless Squeaker is pushing a new lie on the Trump - Epstein relationship, and it's a howler:
"Donald Trump was an FBI informant on convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, a senior Republican has claimed.
Mike Johnson also told CNN that Trump thought what Epstein did was a 'terrible, unspeakable evil' and that the US president had been “misrepresented” throughout the controversy over the files during his second term.
Mr Johnson’s comments come after months of speculation regarding a 'client list' that Attorney General Pam Bondi said in February was sitting on her desk. [snip]
'What Trump is referring to is the hoax that the Democrats are using to try to attack him,' Mr Johnson said.
'I’ve talked to him about this many times, many times. He is horrified. It’s been misrepresented. He’s not saying that what Epstein did is a hoax. It’s a terrible, unspeakable evil. He believes that himself.'
Mr Johnson added: 'When he first heard the rumour, he kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago. He was an FBI informant to try to take this stuff down.'” (our emphasis)
At this point, the MF is almost challenging one or more of the survivors to step forward with accusations against him. We've already heard Sports Illustrated model Stacey Williams' account of how she was brought to the MF's Manhattan office and groped by the MF while Epstein watched. Perhaps this was part of the MF's undercover work. In the MF's own words, he cut ties with Epstein because he "stole" teenage victim Virginia Giuffre from his Mar-a-Lago club, as if she were a piece of furniture, not because he "heard the rumor" of Epstein's sex trafficking. The MF had remarked in 2002 that Epstein liked young girls long before he broke off with him in 2007. It's also inexplicable that this supposedly exculpatory "information" wasn't shared earlier before the firestorm began. No wonder he adjourned Congress early to be able to prepare this ridiculous cover story.
So try again, Mike Johnson, you soulless, lying coward and protector of pedophiles. Release the Epstein files NOW.
Is he saying that the MF was an FBI informant as a part of a deal where small fish criminals are used to make a case against bigger fish criminals or even giving a deal to one partner in crime so that they can at least get the other?
