The Malignant Fascist's hypocrisy on political violence --
This is a very Nazi thing to say, actually.

This is not the message the country needs. We need unifying leadership to take down the temperature, not exploitative blame-seeking that falsely pins all political violence on one side of the spectrum to fit Trump’s narratives. Enough. Americans are tired of the divisiveness.

Trump’s reaction to the murder of the conservative activist was to stoke division and threaten his enemies. He has the means to take political revenge – how far will it go? ✏️ Charlotte McDonald-Gibson

Meanwhile, hearing the MF, the right's stirring up violence in response --
These are calls for mass political violence, against all Democrats. They openly call for the bombing of "Democrat" cities and for the jailing or killing of Democratic politicians. They are from some of the most influential voices in right-wing politics. Will anyone say anything?

The politics of "right supremacy" and "valorizing" Charlie Kirk --
Our politics seems to be entering a phase of "right supremacy" where only the lives of right-wingers have value. Assassinating the leader of a state legislative body in her own damn home was business as usual, but all of America has to have a reckoning if it's a far-right online influencer.

Losing my goddamned mind. We can condemn political violence without valorizing a destructive, hateful bigot.

It's one thing to lament loss of life and decry political violence, but this revisionism is shockingly dishonest and downright offensive to the millions of people Kirk targeted and upon whom he inflicted pain and misery. The man was a liar and a bigot who gladly hurt others to advance himself.

i think anyone saying he practiced politics the right way or that we should continue his work should first have to read out loud his last days worth of posts to someone they love who doesnt know who he is

Maybe the MF should focus on his own close ally's rhetoric --
Two months ago, Laura Loomer posted a long screed accusing Charlie Kirk of stabbing Trump in the back (click through for the whole thing). I guess she's one of the lefty voices Trump was attacking yesterday? xcancel.com/LauraLoomer/...

His face begs the question of whether the MF has had a mini-stroke --
A photo on Getty from this morning; is the media not going to discuss what’s happening with his face? If it were Joe, this would be everywhere non-stop.

Whether by accident or malice - and likely intentionally - the Russians are risking a wider war in Europe. The only path to reducing such a threat is for the world to force Moscow to call off its campaign of butchery in Ukraine. Unfortunately, America is AWOL: www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

U.S. jobless claim applications jumped to their highest level in almost four years last week, the latest sign that the labor market is softening.
