U.S. Attorney Resigns, Won't Bring False Charges

The vengeful and out of control Malignant Fascist has been after those that brought civil and criminal cases against him after he was defeated in 2020.  From Federal prosecutors who worked on the Mar-a-Lago classified files mishandling and the January 6 insurrection case, the MF has been relentless in his revenge.  However, one U.S. Attorney that he appointed has resigned because he didn't follow the MF's orders to manufacture a case against New York State Attorney General Letitia James. From the Associated Press:

"A federal prosecutor in Virginia whose monthslong mortgage fraud investigation into New York Attorney General Letitia James has not resulted in criminal charges resigned Friday under pressure from the Trump administration.

Erik Siebert confirmed his departure in an email to colleagues, reviewed by The Associated Press, in which he praised them as the 'finest and most exceptional' of Justice Department employees but made no mention of the political turmoil that preceded his resignation.

The replacement of Siebert as U.S. attorney for the prestigious Eastern District of Virginia office comes amid a push by Trump administration officials to indict James, a perceived adversary of the president who has successfully sued him for fraud. President Donald Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Friday that he wanted Siebert 'out' and multiple people familiar with the matter later told the AP that Siebert had informed his colleagues of his plan to resign from the position." (our emphasis)

Just as there is nothing that Fed Board member Lisa Cook has done illegally, there is nothing that AG James, also a black woman, has done regarding claims of mortgage fraud, maliciously drummed up by MF toady Bill Pulte, head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency.  Cook's case is currently before the Supreme Court, having won a stay in her firing in the D.C. Court of Appeals.  Pulte made similar false accusations against MF nemesis California Sen. Adam Schiff, who is calling for an investigation into Pulse's abuse of his office for political purposes.  Stay tuned.
