Gaza Peace Plan Gaps Apparent

 

Gaps in the so-called Trump plan for a ceasefire in Gaza are appearing, as both the Netanyahu government and Hamas have not come out in support of some of its key provisions, while Israeli planes continued to bomb sites in Gaza, with some 20 people killed in the past 12 hours. Israel has addressed only the first phase of the plan, which involves the release of the remaining hostages, while Hamas made no mention of disarming in response to the Malignant Fascist's proposal, which also calls for Hamas and other militant groups to be excluded from a role in governing Gaza. In addition, Netanyahu's core promise has been the total destruction of Hamas, despite the collateral damage suffered by Gaza's residents and a stalemate on hostage release. Both sides appear to be buying time for now.

Using his familiar apocalyptic language when desperate, the MF threatened Gaza before movement on the proposal was made, as NBC News reports:

"Earlier on Friday, Trump said Hamas had until 6 p.m. Sunday to accept the ceasefire proposal.

'If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas,' Trump wrote in a lengthy post on Truth Social.

Hamas on Friday also said it wanted to further discuss other elements of the peace plan."

Sounds like the "fire and fury" threats he leveled against North Korea in the MF's first disastrous term, which resulted in photo ops with Kim Jong-Un but no action on North Korea's nuclear weapons as Kim played rope-a-dope with the MF.

It's known around the world that the MF is maniacally, cartoonishly obsessed with getting the Nobel Peace Prize, so that he feels equal to his predecessors Obama and Carter for their laureates, and to balance the humiliation of being a felon and adjudicated sexual abuser. For both the people of Israel and the Palestinians, their lives won't stand in the way of his grasping for it, no matter the "deal."
