The deranged and narcissistic Malignant Fascist hasn't stopped at a $200 million ballroom on White House grounds, or chintzing up the Oval Office with gold ornamentation, or paving over the once-beautiful Rose Garden, or minting a $1 coin with his image. Now King Cankles is planning on constructing a giant arch in the mold of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris across the Potomac River from the Lincoln Memorial. This, while the economy heads toward recession, the Federal Government is shut down and laying off workers, and Federal troops occupy U.S. cities for no particular reason other than retribution. If anything symbolizes his desire for self-aggrandizement, this does.

This reminds me of Hitler's plan to turn Berlin into Imperial Nazi "World Capital Germania." The grotesque grandiosity is the same.
ReplyDeleteConstruction will start early next year, and it won't cost a dime. The money saved from eliminating SS and Medicare will pay for it. It'll be at the intersection of Vought St. and Norquist Avenue..
