The Ukrainians are facing a "negotiating" team today led by traitorous pro-Putin greed head Steve Witkoff and the Malignant Fascist's smug son-in-law Jared "Mr. Ivanka Trump" Kushner, which is comparable to meeting with the Russian delegation to hammer out points for a "peace" plan. The Zelenskiy government is on defense, despite signs of a weakening Russian economy, Russia's high battlefield losses, and successful attacks on Russia's vital oil industry. Ultimatums and betrayals by the MF's regime's Russia-favoring players have forced Ukraine into a delicate position. From Politico:
"The Ukrainian officials are expected to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner in Florida, Bloomberg reported. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio also will attend the talks, the New York Times reported.
Witkoff, who is expected in Moscow next week for talks with Russian officials, has been in the center of a media storm after Bloomberg published a transcript revealing that he had been coaching a Kremlin high official on how to approach talks with Trump.
The planned talks in Florida come after the Trump administration put forward a 28-point peace plan that has been criticized by Ukraine and European allies for being too favorable to Russia. The proposal as it was originally presented included significant territorial concessions on the part of Ukraine, including the Donbas region, and would also limit the size of Ukraine’s military." (our emphasis)
You can be certain that Witkoff and Kushner will be pushing the Kremlin's position in the meeting, since they would prefer a quick, profitable end to the war in order to cash in on promises made to them by war criminal Putin for major business "deals," i.e. bribes. That leaves it up to Secretary of State "Li'l Marco" Rubio to put in a mild word for the Ukrainians, since our European Union allies won't be included. These "negotiations" increasingly look like appeasement for profit at the expense of the Ukrainian people. The shame.
BONUS: The corruption and self-dealing are the norm, not the exception.
