Weekend Music

George Harrison's critically acclaimed triple album "All Things Must Pass" was released 55 years ago yesterday.  It was Harrison's first solo album after the Beatles broke up and included "My Sweet Lord," "Apple Scruffs," one of our all- time favorites "What Is Life," and our song today, "Beware of Darkness." The song warns of the corrupting influence of con men and "Take care, beware of greedy leaders/They'll take you where you should not go," and to avoid political manipulation, all very prescient advice in our age.  Plus, it's a beautiful and complex piece of music.  Hope you enjoy (h/t Silver Spring Bureau Chief Brian).
