QOTD -- The Implausible Epstein Files Release/ Coverup

 

"... I just want to talk for a moment about what [Deputy Attorney General] Todd Blanche said today, because it is outrageous. It is. To me, this is just a huge joke that is basically treating the MAGA base as a bunch of fools.

"So Todd Blanche said today that Donald Trump for years has wanted to make all of this public.  Well, we know that's not true, because if he wanted to do it, he could have done it on day one of his presidency and he hasn't.  Two, he said, well, as you've reported, that he's going to have produced hundreds of thousands, but few hundred thousand documents today and a few hundred thousand he expects later. Well, the law, as you've said, required it to be produced today. So what he is saying right now is they're in violation of the law.  That's point two.

"And then I did a little math because in September of this year, the Department of Justice put out an official statement that said there's nothing to see here. And they've gone through the 300GB of information. Well, a few hundred thousand and a few hundred thousand does not equal 300GB. That is just not possible. It's not plausible. And so the question is where are the what is not being produced? I mean, to me this is just going to scream coverup because you have them not complying with the law. Lying, in my view, to the American people about the president's wishes ... the math doesn't equal the number."  -- former prosecutor and General Counsel of the FBI Andrew Weissmann, appearing on "Dateline White House" with Nicolle Wallace this afternoon, following the release of previously seen Epstein documents and others that were heavily redacted.   It should have come as no surprise that this gang of lawless enablers and Malignant Fascist dead- enders would violate the law and continue to hide evidence of the MF (and others') culpability in abusing women and girls in Epstein's sex trafficking ring. The simplest MAGAt should be wondering, "If they have nothing to hide, why are they still hiding something?"  Seventy (70) percent of Americans believe the MF is hiding who was involved in Epstein's sex crimes.  That number should go up now that it's clear the MF's DOJ is still hiding that evidence, even now that there's a law requiring it to be provided to Congress by today.
