DHS Thug Murdered VA Hospital Nurse Protecting Woman

As the slurring of the latest victim of the Malignant Fascist's domestic terrorist organization -- U.S. citizen Alex Pretti -- goes into high gear, let's get a few things straight.

The victim

The man who was fatally shot Saturday morning by federal agents in Minneapolis has been identified as 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti.

Pretti was an intensive care nurse, an outdoor enthusiast and a dog lover, his parents told the Associated Press. A U.S. citizen, he was a Minneapolis resident and University of Minnesota graduate, The Minnesota Star Tribune reported, and worked in the ICU of a Department of Veterans Affairs hospital.

His parents told the AP he had been participating in the recent protests against President Donald Trump’s aggressive immigration enforcement that sprang up in Minneapolis in the wake of the killing of Renee Good by an ICE officer earlier this month.

“He thought it was terrible, you know, kidnapping children, just grabbing people off the street,” his father, Michael Pretti, told the AP. “He cared about those people, and he knew it was wrong, so he did participate in protests.”...  (our emphasis)

Pre-murder

A video taken by an eyewitness to the killing of Minnesota man Alex Pretti by federal agents on Saturday shows the moments before the ICU nurse's death.

Pretti can be seen on video putting himself between a masked agent and a woman the agent had shoved to the ground. That's when another agent can be seen spraying Pretti directly in the face with a chemical irritant.

A clearly disoriented Pretti is then slammed on the ground by the agents. Moments later, he is fatally shot multiple times.  (our emphasis)

The lies and slurs

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem held a press conference Saturday accusing Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old Minnesota man fatally shot by federal agents on Saturday, of attacking law enforcement. Videos show differently.

"This individual impeded the law enforcement officers and attacked them," Noem said during a late afternoon press conference. "I state the facts as they unfolded on the street today. We were doing a targeted operation against an illegal criminal and this individual came with a weapon and dozens of rounds of ammunition and attacked them. And these agents took action to defend their lives and the lives of people around them and acted according to their training, and we will continue to let this process go forward and not allow people like Gov. Walz and Mayor Frey to lie about what actually unfolded on that street."

Multiple videos show a federal agent spraying chemical irritant in the face of Pretti before slamming him on the ground. At least six masked men can be seen restraining and beating Pretti, an ICU nurse who also worked at the Department of Veteran Affairs, before fatally shooting him...  (our emphasis)

State and local response

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, working with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, filed a lawsuit Saturday evening seeking to prevent the destruction of evidence related to the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti by federal agents.

The suit, filed shortly after 7 p.m. in U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, includes a request for a temporary restraining order that would immediately bar federal agencies from destroying or tampering with any evidence connected to the shooting.

Defendants include the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol and their leadership, as well as U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.

State officials say the evidence at issue includes materials taken by federal agents from the scene that have not been turned over to state authorities for review.

Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said her office has jurisdiction to examine the incident for potential criminal conduct by federal agents and is seeking to ensure a thorough state-level investigation.

Attorney General Keith Ellison said the lawsuit is aimed at preventing the destruction or tampering of evidence so a “full, impartial, and transparent investigation” can proceed, adding that “federal agents are not above the law and Alex Pretti is certainly not beneath it.”  (our emphasis)

These lawless, murdering thugs, and every fascist thug up the chain of command at DHS, need to be prosecuted to the maximum extent of the law if we are ever to have a nation under law again.  Minnesota needs to go after the murderers and their enablers regardless of obstruction by the MF's thug officials, in both the Pretti and Good cases.

BONUS: Here's a sworn affidavit from a physician treating Pretti at the scene indicating that he was shot IN THE BACK.
