The great Bruce Hornsby is back with a new album releasing on April 3, "Indigo Park." The album is a collaboration with the late Bob Weir, Bonnie Raitt and Ezra Koenig (of Vampire Weekend). Hornsby was a touring member of the Grateful Dead in the early '90s, following his award-winning work with The Range as his backup band. He's a three time Grammy winner, and one of the most creative musicians / composers we have, crossing several musical genres. Here's the soulful title track to his album. Enjoy.
"Indigo, roses in spring
The air was heavy as the thunder did sing
I take a plunge in the old-time dark
Pulled her on in and put her in park
There's a heightened sense of possibility
When you don't know shit and you're young and you're green
Turbulent twinge, it won't ease
And I'm in with you only in my dreams"
