Cruelly incompetent former Homeland Security Secretary and world-class cosplayer Kristi "ICE Barbie" Noem, fired by the erratic and delusional Malignant Fascist for, in part, spending some $220 million to promote herself and for not clearly denying her rumored extramarital affair with temperamental hack Corey Lewandowski before Congress, has moved on to a new job, but it's one that knocks her down a few pegs:
"Former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has become the subject of fresh ridicule after new reports revealed who will be her boss in her new role as part of President Donald Trump's administration.
On Tuesday, March 24, Olivia Gazis of CBS News reported that 'in her capacity as Special Envoy to Shield of the Americas, Kristi Noem will report directly to Deputy Secretary of State Chris Landau, per a State Department official.' For those unaware, Trump fired Noem earlier this month from her position as Homeland Security Secretary and replaced her with Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK).
Meanwhile, she was moved to a new role called the Special Envoy for the 'Shield of the Americas' initiative. The move, which followed the intense scrutiny over Noem's $220 million expenditure on a commercial promoting border security, was widely regarded by many critics as a humiliating blow to the former governor of South Dakota's political career." Lesson learned: never outdo the MF in terms of promoting yourself. She went from being a Cabinet member to reporting to a Deputy Secretary, which in bureaucratic terms is a career ender. For someone who once vied for the Vice President spot on the MF's 2024 ticket, it's quite a downward trajectory. The duo might still find some grift to latch onto that will keep them together and on the fringes of Trumpworld (he seems to still be at her side), but this demotion was certainly a message from the MF to ICE Barbie to move on...and out.
