Iran: No Talks With U.S. Over War

Official Iranian sources pushed back on the delusional and reckless Malignant Fascist, denying his claim on his social media that the U.S. had held "productive conversations" about ending his initiated war on them. From the Associated Press:

“'Remarks by the U.S. president are part of efforts to reduce energy prices and buy time to implement his military plans' the newspaper said.

'While there have been initiatives by regional countries to de-escalate tensions, Iran’s response has been clear: It did not start the war and all such requests should be directed to Washington.'”

In another report from CNBC, Iranian officials went further in denying the MF's story:

"Iranian state media, citing an unnamed 'senior security official' in a post on Telegram disputed Trump’s description of conversations, saying direct or indirect talks have not taken place between Washington and Tehran.

'There is been no negotiation and there is no negotiation, and with this kind of psychological warfare, neither the Strait of Hormuz will return to its pre-war conditions nor will there be peace in the energy markets,' state media reported the official as saying." (our emphasis)

After the MF made the dubious announcement, stock future rose and oil prices fell, clearly something he wanted to achieve if only in the very near term. On Saturday, the MF threatened to "obliterate" Iran's power plants by this evening if they refused to open the strategic Strait of Hormuz. In response, Iran threatened to attack desalination and power plants throughout the region if the U.S. or Israel attacked first. Iran is now claiming that the MF backed off out of fear of such attacks.

  1. And it's not even Tuesday. A least I hope our Dear Leader chickens out. If he times it right Jared and his boys could bank billions. What a mess, and 100% self owned.
