Party primaries are underway in Texas and North Carolina, with the Dem and MAGA primaries in Texas being the most interesting. On the MAGA side, incumbent corporate shill Sen. John Cornyn is facing corrupt and adulterous Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and token black opportunist Rep. Wesley Hunt for the Senate nomination. Each is trying to outdo the other in their embrace of the mentally ill and fading fast Malignant Fascist. With a split vote and no clear winner, they could face a runoff between the top two candidates. Meanwhile on the Dem side, Dem stars Rep. Jasmine Crockett and State Rep. James Talarico are vying for the Dem nomination for Senate candidate. It's a shame only one can win. Either would be a terrific change from Cornyn, but it would be an uphill battle -- but possibly winnable depending on the MAGA nominee.
In North Carolina, the contest is mainly on the MAGA side, with MF-endorsed former RNC chairman Michael Whatley facing a couple of far-right challengers (including one endorsed by treasonous, disgraced Gen. Michael Flynn and Jan. 6 conspirator Sidney Powell). On the Dem side, popular former Gov. Roy Cooper is unchallenged in his bid for the Dem nomination, and represents the best Dem hope to flip the seat of retiring Sen. Thom Tillis in November.
