San Diego, California alt/ indie band Moondaddy was founded in 2020 by singer/ songwriter / producer/ multi-instrumentalist Cara Potiker. They have a new, melodic single out, "Passenger" with a black-and-white official video. We're giving them the ol' Hackwhackers bump today.
Sixty (60!) years ago today, at RCA Studios in Los Angeles, The Rolling Stones recorded what would be their third #1 single in the U.S.: "Paint It, Black." With Brian Jones' sitar, Keith Richards' acoustic and electric guitars, Bill Wyman's heavy bass, Charlie Watts' driving drums, and Mick Jagger's dark drone, it is one of the most iconic of the Stones' recordings, consistently listed among the greatest rock recordings (and an inductee into the Grammy Hall of Fame). Hope you enjoy in black and white, or color.
