This is the sort of thing that could spin out of control. Iran evidently could control when various nonstate actors they’ve cultivated would enter the conflict, but can’t really control what they do once unleashed, nor what the US and Saudi Arabia do in response, what the Iraqi govt does, etc.

Memory-holing the Malignant Fascist's disastrous COVID response (and Trump-Epstein files) by attacking Dr. Fauci --
Republicans want us to memory-hole everything Trump did in 2020 while dragging us back into the same tired 2020 culture wars: Fauci, Wuhan, vaccines, communism. Why? Because it’s now 2026, they broke the country, and desperately need a distraction to reinvigorate their base.

You know the Epstein files are *bad* when Donald is drawing our attention back to COVID, his most deadly blunder, to distract from them.

Disappointed in number of stories about Fauci that neglected to point out that the attacks on him are part of an on-going effort by Trump and GOP to distract from their catastrophic mismanagement of the pandemic, mismanagement estimated to have caused hundreds of thousands of unnecessary US deaths.

Is the MF's personal criminal defense lawyer going down as Attorney General nominee? --
Oh, it's bad. He doesn't say Blanche is pulled, but, he does. I think the only fair reading of this is that Trump is not willing to let Blanche back down on the audit immunity.

FIFA is facing backlash after announcing it will seek outside investors to fund a newly formed commercial arm that would control operations for future World Cup tournaments.

Unreal — Gianni Infantino is selling off pieces of FIFA, and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’s brother Josh is overseeing the deal. The corruption is endless.

MAGAt voters failed numerous civics tests --
Trump was a kindergarden-level civics test the American electorate failed miserably, and the rest of the world now quite rightly regards us collectively as a toddler stumbling around with a Glock rather than an adult one can deal reasonably with.

The cognitive dissonance of the GOP makes whirling dervishes out of their politicians: Romney running against a health plan almost identical to his own and the First Fascist running away from the COVID vaccine which was the one real beneficial achievement of his first term.
