As expected, in a vote last night before they adjourned for the month, the Senate confirmed the corrupt Malignant Fascist's criminal defense lawyer Todd Blanch as Attorney General, despite (or perhaps because of) his role in covering up crimes by the Epstein class and his servile obedience to the MF's lawless orders. From the Associated Press:
"The Senate confirmed Todd Blanche as attorney general in a vote early Saturday morning, cementing President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney’s command of a Justice Department the Republican president has sought to bend to his will.
The Republican-led Senate voted 50-49 to make Blanche the second confirmed attorney general since Trump returned to the White House last year with a stated desire to use the law enforcement agency to investigate his political enemies. While Blanche has already been leading the department in an acting capacity, his confirmation could free him to pursue the Trump administration’s agenda even more aggressively."
Cowards and enablers Sens. Cassidy, Tillis, and Cornyn were among those pedo protectors voting to confirm the slippery Blanche, changing their minds in the past few days. This means continued cover up of the Trump-Epstein files, more vindictive prosecutions of the MF's political foes, and a resurrection of the January 6 slush fund for the seditious rioters / cop beaters. Now the MF has his "Roy Cohn" as his Attorney General. One of the most shameful votes by a shameful MAGAt Senate.
