The imbecilic and reckless Malignant Fascist's war on Iran -- his on again, off again blunder -- has significantly drawn down the U.S.'s supply of accurate long-range missiles, which take a long time to replenish due to their technical sophistication. From CNBC:
"The U.S. Army has used up much of its stockpile of highly accurate long-range missiles during its five-month war with Iran, according to three people familiar with the data, raising concerns about the military’s readiness for future conflicts.
The missiles are principally the Army’s surface-to-surface weapons, known as Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM). The U.S. has used 'virtually all' of these weapons, according to two of the sources.
The degree to which the military is running out of ATACMS and Precision Strike Missiles has not been previously reported. The long-range munitions are an important part the military’s arsenal, allowing accurate strikes from a safe distance." (our emphasis)
The shortage of these missiles also affects the readiness of allies in Europe and Asia, and will impact any future supply of them to Ukraine to fight back against Russia's invasion and war crimes.
The MF believed this would be a short operation, much like his Russian thug friend Putin thought his conquest of Ukraine would take a matter of days. He was no doubt encouraged by Israeli's right wing leader Netanyahu, who continues to bomb sites in Gaza with U.S.-supplied munitions. Meanwhile, Iran's "obliterated" missile stock continues to hold siege to the Strait of Hormuz.
