A stunning analysis by The Economist of the latest YouGov poll shows that not only is the crazed and lawless Malignant Fascist's approval numbers down to a record 33% nationally, the would-be dictator's poll numbers are underwater in all but three states: Idaho, West Virginia and Wyoming. From The Economist:
"Using YouGov’s data, The Economist has projected Mr Trump’s approval rating state by state. As you might expect, approval of Mr Trump is lowest in states that tend to vote for Democrats and highest in those that tend to vote for Republicans. Mr Trump’s voters still overwhelmingly approve of his performance as president But the projection also shows how dissatisfaction with Mr Trump is widespread even in states that voted for him in 2024. The numbers will make anxious reading for Republicans facing competitive races in this year’s midterm elections." (our emphasis)
On the key issue of inflation / prices, the affordability crisis-denying MF is 44 points underwater, with his handling of foreign policy coming in at negative 27 points.
"Mr Trump’s net approval rating for his handling of inflation and prices reached -44 in August, the lowest it has been this term. That is hardly unexpected. Before the Iran war began, the average price for a gallon of petrol was under $3. Now it is around $4, although inflation has cooled somewhat since the start of the war.
The combination of his dangerous and bumbling war of choice with Iran, his insanely inflationary tariffs, and his focus on his vanity projects above everything else is bound to drive his poll numbers increasingly lower as the weeks pass.
