"3 Way" Ziegler Finally Ousted As FL Repub Chair

Just two days after Michigan's Republican Party chair election denier Karina Karamo was ousted from her position, today Florida Republicans ousted the state chair of their party, accused rapist Christian "3 Way" Ziegler. Ziegler has been accused of raping a sex partner of his and his book- banning spouse Bridget. From Politico:

"Christian Ziegler was pushed out as chair of the Republican Party of Florida following weeks of pressure from fellow party members to step down from his high profile position amid an investigation that he raped a woman.

His ouster, during a closed-door gathering of party members in Tallahassee, was confirmed Monday by two people who attended the meeting.

Ziegler has maintained that the sexual encounter he had with the woman who leveled the rape accusations against him was consensual. He and his wife, Moms for Liberty cofounder and Sarasota County school board member Bridget Ziegler, also acknowledged to police that they had been in a three-way sexual encounter a year earlier with the alleged victim, per a search warrant affidavit.

The salacious revelation of the three-way opened the couple up to allegations of hypocrisy since both espouse traditional family values." (our emphasis)

Ziegler had been stripped of his powers and salary last month following the explosive story of sex and Christofascist hypocrisy. It's fitting that the state party will enthusiastically support the degenerate sexual predator Malignant Loser's run for the Presidency, because that's what Christofascists do.

Republican Crime Blotter: Police Investigating Ziegler

Florida's Republican Chairman and adulterous party boy Christian Ziegler may have thought his scandalous behavior with his Christofascist book banning wife Bridget and another female would go away if he rode it out. It appears now that in addition to he and his wife violating their supposed religious beliefs, he may have broken the law when he secretly videotaped his encounter with the female who says he raped her. Sarasota, FL, authorities are investigating: 

"Sarasota authorities are expanding their investigation into Florida Republican Chair Christian Ziegler to probe whether he broke any laws when he allegedly recorded a sexual encounter with a woman accusing him of rape, according to a search warrant affidavit. [snip]

The new revelation adds to the mounting problems for Ziegler, who has insisted that the Oct. 2 sexual encounter was consensual and has refused to step down from his role with the GOP despite Gov. Ron DeSantis and other top Florida Republicans urging him to resign. The party’s executive board members stripped Ziegler of his power and salary during a meeting in Orlando on Dec. 17.

Ziegler’s wife Bridget Ziegler, who co-founded the conservative parents group Moms for Liberty, has also faced accusations of hypocrisy in part because she told police during the probe that she had a consensual sexual encounter with the victim and her husband about a year ago. Bridget Ziegler has pushed traditional family values and was an outspoken supporter of Florida’s law that bans teachers from instructing students on sexual orientation and gender identity, known by opponents as 'Don’t Say Gay.'”  (our emphasis)

The videotape should corroborate the victim's story about Ziegler forcing himself on her. He's quite the misogynist thug, and a moron at that for taping his alleged crime. He'll go far in Republican politics. 

 

Republican Family Values, Floriduh Edition

News outlets are reporting that the chairman of the Florida Republican Party is being investigated for sexual battery. The ironically named Christian Ziegler has been accused of sexual battery in October by a woman known to him and his wife, Bridget Ziegler, a founder of the right-wing book-banning group, the misnomered "Moms for Liberty." Politico has the details:

"The Sarasota Police Department is investigating Florida Republican Party Chair Christian Ziegler, whose wife co-founded the conservative parents group Moms for Liberty, following allegations of sexual assault.

According to a heavily redacted police report obtained by POLITICO through a public records request, the alleged incident took place on Oct. 2 at a home in Sarasota and the victim filed a complaint two days later. The documents omit details about the victim’s statement to authorities but include the words 'rape' and 'sexually battered.'”

The Florida Trident, the news platform for the open government watchdog Florida Center for Government Accountability, was first to report on the news." (our emphasis)

The story gets more lurid as it goes on, indicating that the Zieglers (surprise!) weren't the paragons of Christian values that they pretend to be:

"The Trident article quotes anonymous sources who say the Zieglers were in a consensual three-way sexual relationship with the victim but that Bridget Ziegler wasn’t there when the alleged sexual assault happened. POLITICO was not immediately able to substantiate the claims." (our emphasis)

It's rich that the moral mom crusader against sexual content in library books is a allegedly a bisexual swinger. One comes to expect those large skeletons in hypocritical MAGAt closets. She's probably upset that she wasn't with her hubby for his tryst.

Ziegler's close ally, Gov. Ron "Bootsie" DeSantis, is already distancing himself, and has called for Ziegler to step down from the chairmanship. Moms for Liberty was a bit more loyal to wife Bridget, asking people to reserve judgement. No thanks.
