Giuliani Finally Told To Pay Up

 

As expected, the hammer has finally fallen on convicted felon Malignant Loser consigliere Rudy "Toot Toot" Giuliani: 

A federal judge in New York on Friday threw out Rudy Giuliani’s bankruptcy case, paving the way for a litany of creditors, including two former Georgia election workers who won a $148 million defamation claim against him, to pursue and potentially seize his assets.

The decision by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane in the Southern District of New York comes nearly seven months after Giuliani sought bankruptcy protection after he was ordered to immediately pay millions in damages to Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, two Georgia women he falsely accused of helping to steal the 2020 presidential election.

Lane’s written ruling came amid claims by Giuliani’s creditors that the former New York mayor and personal lawyer to former president Donald Trump had used the proceedings to hide details about his assets and avoid paying the former election workers.

Friday’s order would allow Freeman and Moss and other creditors to pursue legal remedies to collect money owed to them by Giuliani. It also allows other pending lawsuits against the former mayor that had been frozen by the bankruptcy proceeding to resume, including defamation suits by the voting machine companies Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic and a sexual harassment and wage theft claim by former Giuliani associate Nicole Dunphy...

Giuliani is but one of a rogues gallery of treasonous petty con artists who've hitched their wagon to the Big Con Artist himself, only to be brought low (#ETTD).  Sad!

Giuliani Faces Liquidation Of Assets

When deranged and disgraced Trump consigliere and Borat sexual prank target Rudy "Toot Toot" Giuliani was ordered to pay Georgia election workers $148 million for defaming them, the corrupt former mayor ran to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court to shield himself. However, yesterday in Court Judge Sean Lane indicated that he's probably going to dismiss Giuliani's appeal, which would force him to liquidate his assets to pay his debts without delay:

"'I’m leaning toward dismissal, frankly, because I am concerned that the past is prologue,' U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane said during a tense hearing, raising concerns that 'the difficulties that we’ve encountered in this case in terms of transparency will continue and dog the case.'

Lane’s comments portend a significant victory for the two Georgia women, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, who won a $148 million defamation verdict against Giuliani last year for falsely accusing them of committing election fraud in the 2020 election. Giuliani’s claims, which were amplified by his longtime ally and former client Donald Trump, generated a torrent of threats against the women, forcing them to flee their homes.

A dismissal of his bankruptcy case, their attorney argued, would require Giuliani to liquidate his assets — which include two multimillion-dollar homes — and immediately begin paying off his debts, including to them." (our emphasis)

Giuliani has filed multiple incomplete and inaccurate financial statements to the Court, in an attempt to hide assets and deceive creditors. An out-of-control Giuliani frequently interrupted the proceedings, prompting Judge Lane to threaten to cut off his line and threaten him with jail if he continued. Judge Lane is expected to issue his rulingtomorrow.
