Mid-Week Song

 

London Grammar, an indie pop trio originating from Nottingham, England, has a new album coming out -- their fourth studio album since 2013 -- entitled "The Greatest Love." Powered by lead singer / songwriter Hannah Reid, they have a melodic, multi-layered, even classical sound. One of the newly released tracks from their new album is our song today: "You and I."  Enjoy.

The English indie pop trio London Grammar, led by singer Hannah Reid, released a music video earlier this summer, "Dancing By Night," featuring French DJ Sebastian. Lots of underwater swimming images set to an insistent dance beat. Enjoy.

Mid-Week Song: Grammar Lesson

It's been a long time since we've featured British indie trio London Grammar. Perhaps that's because they've been on a recording hiatus since 2017. They have an album coming out in February 2021, entitled "Californian Soil," and this is the title cut of the same name from that album. It's got a '60s California / San Francisco sound feel to it, which makes the title even more apt. Enjoy.

London-based British trio London Grammar was formed five years ago, and has been enjoying success both in the UK and in Europe, having their debut album "If You Wait" hit #2 on the UK albums chart in 2013. Their latest album "Truth Is A Beautiful Thing" was released last Friday, and our choice today is a track from that album: "Oh Woman Oh Man." Enjoy.
