Mid-Week Song

Grammy Award-winning singer / songwriter Lorde achieved musical stardom with her 2013 hit "Royals," which became one of the best selling singles of all time. The New Zealander has released three albums and toured extensively since then, with her fourth and latest album "Virgin" scheduled for release on June 27. 

On April 24, Lorde released the music video we're featuring today, which was filmed on a smart phone the day of her pop-up concert in Washington Square, New York two days earlier: "WWT (What Was That)."

ICYMI, New Zealand's star singer-songwriter Lorde debuted her new song "Stoned at the Nail Salon" on Seth Meyers' late night show. The song, with backing vocals from Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo and guitar by Jack Antonoff, is a low-key, folk-tinged tune reflecting on maturing in life.
