Clueless Quote of the Day I

"The Senate Conservatives Fund is giving conservatism a bad name. They’re participating in ruining the [Republican] brand."   Senate Minority Leader and model for the Turtle Wax turtle Mitch "Missy" McConnell, in an interview with the right-wing Washington Examiner.  The Senate Conservatives Fund was founded by Missy's former colleague Jim "Demented" DeMint, so you know how batsh*t crazy they are.

So Missy thinks they're "giving conservatism a bad name" and "ruining the [Republican] brand."   Bwahahaha.  Missy need look no further than his mirror for the rejoinder to that.  Missy and some fellow Rethugs are under siege from far-right tea baggers who would take the U.S. back to the 1890s at best.  They're beginning to see that the wedge issue seeds they've sown over the past 30+ years were actually poison ivy and not roses.
