Mid-Week Song

 

Muse -- formed in Devon, England, in the mid-90s -- has won Grammys, Brit Awards and other accolades ever since, on the way to selling over 30 million records. Their sound's been described as a fusion of alternative rock, progressive rock, and electronica, but it's more than that.  Fronted by singer and guitarist Matt Bellamy, the group has a new album coming out in June, and they released this single "Be With You" from the album a few days ago.  Enjoy.

Mid-Week Dig Down Song

British alternative band Muse have sold over 20 million albums worldwide since their formation in the mid-1990s. Winners of two Grammys and five MTV Europe Music Awards, Muse fuses electronic, pop, metal, and even classical music together in their work, which has been called "art rock," "progressive metal," and more. They released a new single on May 18, "Dig Down," and it has a definite political tone, as in:

"When God decides to look the other way, 

And a clown takes the throne,

We must find a way"

Mid-Week M-m-m-m-Madness Song

British alternative/progressive rock group Muse has released this edgy video for their new electronica-style single, "Madness." (Wherever the subway is in this video, we're staying away). The group won the 2011 Grammy for Best Rock Album ("The Resistance"), and has sold over 15 million albums worldwide. Muse vocalist/guitarist/composer Matthew Bellamy also happens to be Kate Hudson's fiancé and father of their son.
