Doing What He Does Best

The fierce push back that Rethuglican VP nominee Paul "Lyin'" Ryan received after his dishonest speech at last week's Rethuglican fib-fest is causing him to backpedal...and in doing so, lie. Case in point: this morning's interview on the Today Show, where he claimed that he wasn't trying to blame President Obama for the GM plant closing in Janesville, WI. Who are you going to believe, Lyin' Ryan or your lyin' ears? That's what we thought.

The marathon man has lived so long in the right wing bubble world that, now that he's on a national campaign stage, the fibs, fables, and falsehoods that he passed off so casually at campaign rallies, in private speeches and to adoring media aren't going to remain unchallenged this time.

Mitt's Mendacity, Cont.

This week's list from Steve Benen totals 33 lies emanating from the lie-hole of reliable liar Willard "Mendacious Mitt" Romney. There are so many egregious lies, so many distortions, so much evidence that Willard thinks the American people are just bone-deep stupid (well, we know his base is), that it's hard to pick a "worst." Anything smokescreening the Rethug plan to dismantle Medicare will do for a start.

We also now have the Ayn Rand acolyte, Paul "Lyin'" Ryan to keep up with, and look he's pumping the lies out as fast as his lips can move.
