Quote of the Day
"What an asshole." -- This pithy quote courtesy of Weeper of the House John "Mr. Tangerine Man" Boehner, referring to uber-wingnut and flaming bigot Rep. Steve King and his comparison of young undocumented Latino immigrants to drug mules with calves like cantaloupes. Sadly for the Weeper, his caucus is overflowing with assholes.

Quote of the Day: Republican Rebranding Edition
From Rep. Steve "Lyin" King (R-Yahooville), one of the House Republican Party's "Three Stooges" (Rep. Michele "Crazy Eyes" Bachmann and Rep. "Screwy Louie" Gohmert rounding out the threesome) opining about the DREAM act target population:
"Rebranding," our asses.
"Some of them are valedictorians, and their parents brought them in," King told Newsmax in an interview last week. "It wasn't their fault. It's true in some cases, but they aren't all valedictorians. They weren't all brought in by their parents."Maybe some of them wear hoodies, too, Congressman? If there weren't 200 more like him on the Rethuglican side of the House, this douche-nozzle would be getting censured for remarks like that.
"For everyone who's a valedictorian, there's another 100 out there that weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they're hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert,” he continued. “Those people would be legalized with the same act." (our emphasis)
"Rebranding," our asses.

How's That Republican Rebranding Coming Along? Bigot Edition
Extremist Rethuglican Rep. Steve "Don't Call Me Martin Luther" King (Nutcase- IA)is the third member of the Michele Bachmann and Louis Gohmert "Three Stooges" Congressional team. You can count on him to spew the most extreme, unhinged babble whenever he opens his pie-hole, something Rethug leaders would just as soon he not do so often. Case in point: on the Latino network Univision, King was asked by anchor Jorge Ramos whether was sorry for comparing immigrants to dogs. King claimed that he meant it as a compliment, despite video evidence to the contrary. He has previously compared immigrants to livestock, saying that wire fences are used to control livestock, too.
With morons like King disparaging Latino immigrants -- on Univision no less -- it's clear that Rethuglicans have an electoral death wish. Keep it coming.
