Over the past few days, a number of media sites have been reporting that Ukrainian President Zelensky was handed a document by U.S. officials to sign that would have given the rights to 50% of Ukraine's rare earth deposits to the U.S. for continued support. It's reported that Zelensky politely refused the extortion attempt, as he did when the Malignant Fascist withheld needed arms in exchange for manufactured dirt on former President Biden in 2019, an act for which he was impeached the first time. In another sign of contempt for our European allies, the "deal" would have cut them out of the MF's proposed minerals grab, despite their military and humanitarian support for Ukraine. They've already been told that they would not be part of the capitulation talks with Russia in Saudi Arabia, date to be determined.
This is not how democratic nations behave toward others, especially toward those fighting a despotic, expansionist aggressor. Given the fact that a felon is operating out of the Oval Office, it's how organized crime figures do "business" within their turf: "that's a nice store you have, but you're going to need our insurance policy to protect it." The damage the MF is causing to our decades-old Atlantic alliance is devastating and a victory for Russia that the Kremlin could not have dreamed of a decade ago.
